Requirements

Education

  •        Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computing & Information System

Experience

  •      2 to 6 years
  •     The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service, Computer Hardware/Network Companies, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.)

Additional Requirements

  •     Age 26 to 36 years

1.  Should have knowledge in Technical Sales Skills: Needs assessment, demos, handling technical queries, understanding specs.

2. At least 2 years’ experience in Software & Hardware Sales

  •       Experience in Software & Hardware Sales
  •       Knowledge of Backup (Acronis) Solution: Backup types, recovery methods, Acronis features

3. At least 2 years selling experience in Oil/Gas, Banks, Government & Education sector

  • Essential Technical Experience for Sales of Advanced IT & Electrical Products:

Core Electrical Fundamentals

  •         Basic understanding of AC/DC power, safety.
  •      Product-Specifics UPS: Topologies, power ratings, backup time.
  •      Schneider: General portfolio awareness, relevant product lines.
  •      3M/Honeywell (Electrical): Cable accessories, industrial controls (as applicable).
  •      SEL: Protection relays, automation basics, communication protocols

Responsibilities & Context

Strategic Objective:

NGEN IT seeks a high-impact sales professional to drive adoption of advanced industrial IT solutions across Bangladesh’s most demanding verticals:

  •       Oil & Gas: SCADA systems, pipeline monitoring, explosion-proof hardware
  •       Financial Sector: AI-driven fraud detection, secure transaction platforms
  •       Government: Smart city infrastructure, citizen service digitization
  •       Power/Energy: Smart grid solutions, renewable energy management

This role combines technical consultative selling with C-level relationship building to deploy mission-critical systems that redefine operational benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

Sector-Specific Solution Selling

Oil & Gas:

·         Sell intrinsically safety Items Hazardous Area PCs) (e.g., 3M™ Scott™ Ska-Pak AT Supplied-Air Respirator, Honeywell

·         Deploy predictive maintenance AI for refinery equipment

·         Ruggedized industrial Mobile / Tab / PCs (eCom-Ex)

·         ATEX-certified devices for hazardous environments

·         High-availability servers & 5G devices

Financial & Academic Institutions:

  •       Backup Recovery & Monitoring Solution
  •       Cybersecurity frameworks for PCI DSS compliance
  •       CRM, Statistical & Analytical Solutions

Government & Power Sectors:

·     Lead bids for national projects through CPTU platforms

·     Design surveillance ecosystems for critical infrastructure

·     Promote IoT-enabled Device & substation automation solution

·      Look at upcoming projects or assist in creating ToR for the government projects

Complex Deal Structuring

  •       Negotiate - multi-year managed service contracts (3-5 year horizons)
  •       Design - revenue-sharing models for smart city PPP projects
  •       Structure - outcome-based pricing for AI solutions
