Software Sales Engineer - Acronis & Enterprise Solutions

Requirements

Education

·         Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering

·         Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Business-to-Business (B2B) Software and Services Startup, Computer Hardware/Network Companies, Consulting Firms, E-commerce, Group of Companies, IT Enabled Service, Jute Goods/ Jute Yarn, Software Company, Trading or Export/Import.
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply

Responsibilities & Context

NGEN IT LIMITED is looking for a CSE/IT background professional to develop its software, cloud, subscription and cybersecurity business, with primary focus on Acronis Cyber Protection, Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions and other enterprise software partnerships.

The role combines software sales, customer acquisition, reseller/channel development, solution presentation, renewals, licensing support and recurring-business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Acronis, Backup & Recovery, enterprise software, cloud and subscription business.
  • Identify and develop corporate customers, resellers and channel partners.
  • Generate new software sales, subscription, renewal and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop and support the Acronis reseller/channel network.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable software, licensing or subscription solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, product comparisons and solution presentations.
  • Coordinate pricing, licensing, deal registration and technical clarification with principals/distributors.
  • Maintain renewal schedules and proactively follow customers before license expiry.
  • Arrange customer meetings, demos and presentations.
  • Coordinate activation, implementation and technical support with relevant teams.

Preferred Technology Knowledge

Knowledge of AC/DC EV Charging, electrical load assessment, cabling/protection, solar PV, inverter, battery/storage and basic site survey/BOM preparation will be preferred.

Relevant product and solution training will be provided.

Market Visits • Site Surveys • Qualified Opportunities • Technical Proposals • Customer Meetings • Sales Closure • Project Support Relevant product and solution training will be provided.

Candidates from other districts with strong local sales/business networks may also mention their preferred territory and local customer network. Suitable profiles may be considered separately for territory-based business development opportunities under sales commission/project incentive arrangements.
