Overview

The boots feature a protective steel toecap and mid-sole for offering maximum protection against falling and penetrating objects. Tested and certified in accordance with the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard, the built-in protective toecap serves to protect the toes from impacts of an energy level of 200 J and a compression at a load of 15 kN. The protective mid-sole is positioned in the sole and penetration is prevented until a force of 1100 N. Dunlop boots with a protective toecap and midsole are labelled as Full Safety.

The new Dunlop® Explorer combines the benefits of high pressure PU Purofort® in the iconic Thermo+ boot with the established slip qualities of a rubber sole, provided by the market leader Vibram®.

Warranty: It is Dunlop Protective Footwear policy to replace any defective product at no cost to the Customer within 90-days of original purchase. Dunlop Protective Footwear warranty sets forth the limit of Dunlop Protective Footwear responsibility.

What is covered:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship

What is not covered:

  • Misuse because of cutting obstacles (barbwire) or excessive kicking/abrasion.
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning of boot (water & ventilation)
  • Boot is not worn out or too old
  • Wear and tear or exposure to environments not recommended for the product.
  • Damage due to lack of maintenance (cleaning / conditioning). This warranty may also be void if the user applies any material not recommended for footwear such as acids, oils, or other chemicals that result in damage to the footwear.
  • Fit related problems, the product cannot be returned after being worn.
  • Claims made outside the warranty period.
