Overview

The V-Gard® H1 PRO Safety Helmet provides exceptional comfort and ease of use in a stylish low-profile hard hat design. A complete above-the-neck platform for all applications from tower climbing and forestry to rescue and confined spaces. Available in a variety of MATTE colors.

Specification

V-Gard® H1 PRO Helmets Feature:

  • Fas-Trac® III H1 non-pivoting ratchet suspension comes standard for superior comfort, easy cleaning and durability; field replaceable
  • Non-contact foam liner maximizes air flow & breathability for optimal cooling and hygiene
  • 4-point chinstrap with multiple adjustment points for customized fit and comfort; field replaceable
  • Convenient rescue whistle integrated into the chin strap buckle
  • Sewn-in vinyl sweatband for added comfort, easy cleaning and duarbility
  • Patent pending “push-button” accessory attachment rail and universal light strap clips for simplicity and convenience
  • Meets the requirements of European standard EN124922012 for Shock Energy Absorption Capacity [4.2.1.1 (vertical/top), 4.2.1.2 (front), 4.2.1.3 (lateral), 4.2.1.4 (rear)], Penetration [4.2.2] and Retention System [4.2.3 (strength), 4.2.4 (effectiveness)]

 

Service Life Guidelines:

  • V-Gard Helmets are made with high-quality, wear-resistant materials
  • Inspect the helmet before and after each use and replace any part(s) as required
  • Always replace the helmet after it has withstood an impact or penetration. MSA recommends:

- Replacing the suspension after no more than 12 months of use.
- Replacing the chinstrap after no more than 12 months of use.
- Replacing the shell after no more than five (5) years of use.

  • Storage Life is 2 years from date of manufacture when stored as directed
  • Warranty: 1 year from date of purchase (free from manufacturer’s defects)
  • Please consult user instructions for additional details

 

Care & Maintenance:

  • Clean helmet assembly regularly with MSA’s Confidence Plus Cleaning Solution (P/Ns 10009971 or 10032737) or mild soap (no detergents) and warm water
  • Do not throw, drop, use as support or abuse helmet to ensure proper working condition
  • Store helmet in clean, dry environment, 5–35°C (41–95°F)
