A fast-growing fintech company specializing in payments platforms, applications for managing financial data and cloud-based infrastructure sought a streamlined device purchasing process. The pre-approved inventory selection enables the client to control inventory costs while still providing a high-value device experience for employees, who are likelier to be more productive and satisfied with the device of their choice.

Additionally, the client opted to move to a customer-owned inventory model, enabling IT to guarantee the necessary devices would be available when needed, and allowing them to better handle technology changes, such as OS upgrades, in a timely manner. This not only helps to control costs and ensure new hires have devices in their hands on their start dates, but also helps to ensure devices are up to date — reducing the likelihood of hardware failure.
