ASCO Series 290C, also known as 8290C, is line of fast-closing motorized piston valves with high-flow capabilities and an anti-water hammer design. The robust, reliable valves are suitable for a variety of applications including sterilizers, wine production (thermoregulation), food processing, car wash equipment, hydrotherapy, water treatment, industrial heating and cooling equipment, and on-board vehicle equipment.

Overview

The ASCO 290C combines motorized proportional actuation with high-flow performance for precise fluid management. Its 2/2 normally closed configuration supports reliable shutoff, while the anti-water-hammer design promotes smoother operation. The stainless-steel body handles diverse media including air, inert gases, water, steam, light oil, vacuum, CO₂, and aggressive fluids. With indoor and outdoor suitability and IP65 protection, it is well suited to demanding industrial and process applications.
