Expand point capacity of the supported plant controllers to a maximum of 256 physical I/Os for firmware 2.1 and later versions. For firmware 2.1 and earlier versions a maximum of 128 physical I/Os. A maximum of 15 CP-EXPIO modules can be added for

Specification

  • Powerful Processor - CP-EXPIO Expansion I/O Boards have powerful onboard processors for fast input/output scanning.
  • Mixed Inputs and Outputs - CP-EXPIO comes with a mix of 24 input and outputs to suit any application requirements.
  • Expandable - The ComfortPoint Open plant controller can connect up to: 15 expansion IO boards (for CP-IPC); 16 expansion IO boards (for CPO-PC-6A).
  • All the Expansion IO boards are connected on the same RS485 CP-IO bus.
  • Programming and Configuration - ComfortPoint Open Studio allows users to add/delete/modify expansion boards and IO Assignment.
  • Addressing - Addressing of CP-EXPIO is done via onboard HEX Switch. The address can be between 1 through 15. For firmware 2.1 and later the address can be selected between 0 through 15.
  • Firmware Upgrade - Firmware on the CP-EXPIO can be easily upgraded using ComfortPoint Open Online.
  • Flexible mounting options - DIN-rail or Wall mounting.
