The 3M™ DBI-SALA® ShockWave™2 1244456 is a 6 ft. (1.8 m) twin-leg, 100% tie-off shock-absorbing lanyard designed to provide continuous fall protection while workers move between anchorage points. Its elastic webbing expands to approximately 6 ft. when taut and contracts to about 4.5 ft. during normal movement, helping reduce tripping, dragging, and snagging hazards.

Get A QuoteA key feature of model 1244456 is its integrated D-ring for SRL attachment or rescue. This allows a compatible self-retracting lifeline (SRL) to be connected to the lanyard's dedicated D-ring while the lanyard remains connected to the harness, providing a practical solution for applications requiring both an SRL and 100% tie-off lanyard.
The lanyard incorporates abrasion-resistant polyester tubular webbing and an internal energy-absorbing core that activates during a fall to help limit arresting forces. A built-in impact indicator provides a visual means of identifying whether the lanyard has been subjected to a fall. The two leg ends feature self-locking steel rebar hooks, while the harness connection uses a self-locking snap hook.
