Biometric Tablet (S8) comes with secure and flexible operations based on an
8-inch screen (1280x800 resolution) on the Android 13.0 OS. It contains
multi-modal biometrics like face recognition, iris scanning and fingerprint
scanning using FAP30, FAP45, and FAP60 scanners. It has flexible document
verification with support for contact/contactless e-ID card reading, e-passport
NFC scanning, 1D/2D barcodes, and passport MRZ. The rugged IP65 design ensures
dust and water resistance as well as drop-proof durability for harsh
environments. With an Octa-Core processor, it comes with memory options of
4GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. It supports LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet
and comes with a 10000mAh removable battery. Expansion slots include Micro SD,
Micro SIM, Nano SIM, and SAM cards. Its capture features include front and rear
cameras, NFC reader, smart card reader, fingerprint scanner, rear iris scanner,
barcode scanner and MRZ/RFID scanner. Its major applications include voter registration,
e-KYC, issuing of national ID cards, mobile border control, criminal
identification, law enforcement, distribution of social welfare, and management
of e-passport/visa. It enables biometrics anywhere.
