The USM Ultrasonic Meter offers a wide temperature operating range combined with a high degree of accuracy, making it ideal for heating and cooling system applications. The remotely mounted register displays totalized volume and provides a momentary real-time flow indication. Designed with static transit-time measurement technology, the USM® features no moving parts, ensuring low pressure loss, large metering dynamics, low start flow rate, and strong resistance to suspended particles. It also offers selectable U.S. gallons or liters, selectable dry contact pulse output, and a 4–20 mA output for flexible integration.

Available in sizes from ¾″ (USM075) through 4″ (USM400), each unit includes a low-voltage transformer for power supply and is built for long service life. The meter can be installed horizontally, vertically, or on an incline, provided the line remains completely full of water at all times. For proper operation, the flowing water must be glycol-free.
