The Honeywell Sensepoint XCD RFD (Remote Flammable Detector) is a fixed gas transmitter designed for use with remotely mounted flammable-gas sensors. It is particularly useful when the sensing point is located in a difficult-to-access area or where temperatures are too high for the transmitter itself. Compatible sensors can be installed up to 30 m (100 ft) away from the transmitter, while the transmitter can be positioned in a more accessible location for monitoring and maintenance.

Get A QuoteThe XCD RFD supports Honeywell 705 and 705HT combustible-gas sensors, as well as compatible catalytic and infrared sensor types. With the 705HT sensor, the system can support gas detection in environments reaching up to 150°C (302°F). The transmitter provides a configurable 4–20 mA output, optional RS-485 Modbus RTU communication, and three programmable relays for alarm and fault indication.
A tri-color backlit LCD displays gas concentration, alarm status, fault conditions, and operating information. Non-intrusive magnetic switches allow users to configure the transmitter and perform maintenance without opening the enclosure. During configuration, outputs can be automatically inhibited to help prevent unwanted alarms.
