The Honeywell XNX™ Universal Gas Transmitter is a flexible, modular gas detection transmitter designed to work with a wide range of Honeywell gas sensing technologies, including electrochemical, infrared, and catalytic bead sensors. It provides a common platform for monitoring toxic, oxygen, and combustible gases, making it suitable for complex industrial gas detection systems. Honeywell states that the XNX can be configured in more than 200 ways to meet different installation and communication requirements.

Get A QuoteThe XNX supports standard 4–20 mA signaling and can be equipped with HART®, Modbus®, and FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus communication options. It can also support up to three relays, depending on configuration. The transmitter features a local LCD display for gas concentration, alarm, fault, and diagnostic information, while HART communication can be used for configuration and diagnostics.
Its rugged enclosure is available in LM25 aluminum or optional 316 stainless steel, with five cable-entry ports available in metric or NPT configurations. The XNX is designed for hazardous-area applications and carries certifications including ATEX, IECEx, UL, CSA, and SIL 2 assessment, depending on the configuration.
