Overview

Model 50 Winch is engineered for deepwater and borehole inspection projects requiring reliable cable handling at depths between 4,000 and 5,000 feet. It supports a larger .29-inch steel armored single-conductor coaxial cable and includes advanced operational features such as a cable level wind, mechanical counter, and video depth encoder displaying camera position on the monitor. With hydraulic speed control, clutch mechanism, and rugged construction, it ensures dependable performance in harsh field environments.

Cable Capacity: 4,000 to 5,000 feet (1,219.2 to 1,524 m) of steel armored cable
Drive Motor (Hydraulic Models): Variable, reversible drum speed (0-20 rpm) with nearly constant torque. 
Power Source: Hydraulic Pump (sold separately)
Clutch: Manual level type (dog clutch) to allow drive mechanism to be disengaged, providing free spooling of cable
Brake: Hydraulic Backflow
Footage Counter Mechanism: Includes electronic encoder and mechanical counter on winch
Level Wind: Automatic diamond screw mechanism with adjustable calibration
Slip Ring Assembly: Low noise slip rings permitting signal and DC power transmission over single-conductor coaxial cable
Winch Speed & Direction Control: 3-way directional valve (hydraulic motor)
