R-Cam Lens Shield

R-Cam Lens Shield is a 316 stainless steel deflector that directs LED light down the borehole, reducing backscatter and improving image clarity. It also protects the down-view lens from obstructions and impacts during well camera inspections.

Overview

The R-Cam Lens Shield enhances borehole imaging by focusing ambient LED light further down, enabling clearer views in larger diameter holes and minimizing backscatter from water turbidity. Made of durable 316 stainless steel, its conical design extends beyond the down-view lens to protect against contact with obstructions or the borehole bottom, ensuring both improved performance and physical protection for R-Cam down-view cameras during inspections.
