BRQ Series comprises cylindrical photoelectric sensors designed for reliable, non-contact object detection in industrial automation. Featuring an Ø18 mm housing, adjustable sensitivity, and excellent resistance to electrical noise and ambient light, the series offers sensing distances up to 30 m. Available in through-beam, retroreflective, and diffuse-reflective configurations, it is suitable for packaging, conveyor systems, material handling, and automated manufacturing.

Overview

The BRQ Series operates on a 10–30 VDC supply and provides a fast response time of 1 ms or less. Models feature selectable Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, NPN or PNP outputs, and sensitivity adjustment for flexible installation. Depending on the model, housing options include SUS316L stainless steel, nickel-plated brass, and plastic. With IP67 protection and selected models offering IP69K, the series supports reliable object detection in demanding industrial environments, including wet and dusty production areas.

  • Power/output reverse polarity protection circuits and output overcurrent (short-circuit) protection circuits
  • Mutual interference prevention function (except through-beam type)
  • Sensitivity adjuster
  • Switch between Light ON and Dark ON modes using control wire
