Overview

Allen Bradley 100-C 24V DC Coil Operating Contactors

The compact yet powerful 100-C series of contactors by Allen Bradley provides exceptional performance with enhanced reliability and efficiency.

These versatile IEC contactors can easily handle the high starting currents of modern motors and other loads with their high switching power. They are also designed to save panel space with their smaller frame. They offer high connection reliability and ease-of wiring due to having two separate power connections per pole, and have low power consumption, to save you valuable time and money. They are also RoHs compliant and are comprised of environmentally friendly materials, ensuring that you can make a better choice for your personnel and the planet.

These 100-C series contactors with DC coils include integrated surge suppression. 100-C contactors have reversible coil terminals and provide front and side mounting of auxiliary contacts. They can be attached to a 35mm DIN Rail mount or panel mounted. Breadth of line is 9...97 A. They have IP2X finger protection to prevent risk of injury to operators and risk of damage to the device. They are compatible with electronic overload relays and bimetallic relays. A complete range of accessories is available for all contactor sizes, helping you to create a flexible and flawlessly integrated starter component system.

Features:

• Max. switching voltage 690V (rated voltage) AC3
• 24Vdc coil draws 200W inrush, upto 16W Hold in
• Electrical Life: 1.3 million operations
• 3 pole, 1 NO auxiliary contact on sizes 4 to 11kW
• Built-in surge suppression with DC coils

Note

Please ensure the power supply and any contacts used in the circuit can withstand 8.3A surge current

Standards: IEC947, EN60 947, VDE0660, UL508, CSA22.2.

100-C30EJ00 Contactor

The 100-C30EJ00 model is a 3-Pole Contactor which has an electronic coil voltage of 24V dc. It has a rated operating current of 30A. It also has screw type terminals and coil termination for this unit is line side. The power rating is 15kW.

How do contactors work?

Contactors are electromagnetic devices which can switch high amounts of electrical current and work with the use of an internal coil or electromagnet, which opens or closes the contacts when electrical current passes through it. They are similar to relays, however they can handle larger loads and are able to switch more than 15 amperes. This makes them ideal for heavy-duty, larger scale applications, such as switching several different circuits simultaneously. These devices can be remotely controlled and so can be used for logic controlling, such as turning different things on and off together. Contactors feature high coil voltages and they also have more input and output options than relays. They are often used to control electric motors and lighting systems.

Allen Bradley Contactors are expertly designed to consistently deliver excellent performance and meet your unique requirements. They have a range of motor control products, including IEC and NEMA contactors that can be combined with compatible accessories, to help you find your ideal solution.
