Get A QuoteThe Keystone K-LOK Figure 360/362 and 370/372 High Performance Butterfly Valve is engineered for optimal durability and precision in demanding industrial applications. One of the standout features of this valve is the integrally cast mounting pad, which allows for the direct attachment of many different actuators, simplifying installation. Additionally, the rocker-shaped gland bridge is specifically designed to compensate for any uneven adjustments of the gland nuts, ensuring a more reliable seal. The valve’s extended neck accommodates two inches of pipeline insulation, offering increased flexibility in installations.
The design incorporates flattened body bores at the shaft journal ports, positioning the shaft bearings near the disc. This configuration provides maximum support to the shaft, improving overall performance and longevity. A key innovation in the valve’s design is the tangential positioning of disc taper pins, with half of each pin embedded in the disc and the other half in the shaft. This places the pins in compression rather than shear, significantly reducing the potential for failure. To further enhance the valve’s performance, an integrally cast disc position stop ensures the disc is perfectly located within the seat, maximizing both seat and seal life. The valve seats come in various materials, allowing for extended service life across a range of applications.
For automated control, the Emerson Powered Actuator offers seamless integration with all Keystone butterfly and ball valves. Its valve connection is compatible with both Keystone’s imperial and metric standards, as well as ISO 5211. The actuator’s double rack and pinion design effectively eliminates side loads on the pinion shaft, minimizing bearing wear and extending the product’s operational life. The anodized aluminum body, coated with electrostatic powder, provides exceptional protection against corrosive environments. The actuator is available in both double-acting and spring-return versions, offering a cost-effective solution for safe operation. It includes up to 12 individual springs, providing a flexible torque range suitable for both ball and butterfly valves. The pre-compressed spring design and anti-blowout drive pinion enhance safety during maintenance and operation.
Another actuator option, the Keystone F89 Pneumatic Quarter-Turn Actuator, shares many of the same high-performance features. This actuator also directly mounts to all Keystone butterfly and ball valves and is compatible with Keystone’s imperial and metric connections, as well as ISO 5211. Its double rack and pinion design also minimizes side loads, reducing bearing wear and extending the product’s life. The anodized aluminum body with ESPC finish ensures protection in corrosive environments, and the available double-acting and spring-return versions provide safe and efficient operation. Like the Emerson actuator, the F89 offers up to 12 individual springs for a flexible torque range and incorporates a pre-compressed spring design with an anti-blowout drive pinion for safe and simple maintenance.
