Recommended for home theaters or short-distance digital signage applications in classrooms, offices, restaurants, bars, hotels and trade shows, this Ultra High Definition (UHD) HDMI splitter is quick and easy to install. It connects to an HDMI source device, such as a laptop or Blu-ray player, and transmits an 8K audio/video signal to four HDMI monitors, projectors or televisions simultaneously. Multi-resolution output allows video content to be presented at the optimal resolution for each display's capabilities.
Transmits 8K Video with HDR10+ and 4:4:4 Color
The B118-004-8K supports Ultra HD 8K resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color (12 bits per channel), as well as DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and LPCM 7.1-channel surround sound. Place the splitter up to 10 feet from an HDMI source and up to 15 feet from a connected monitor for a maximum distance of nearly 25 feet from source to display. High Dynamic Range (HDR10+) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 8K display. HDCP 2.3 encryption allows you to stream 8K content with no loss in resolution. This splitter also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or for using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
Multi-Resolution Support Allows Mixing and Matching of Displays of Different Resolutions
Say you have a brand new 8K/60 Hz HDTV in the living room, but want to also connect your Blu-ray player or media server to the older 1080p TV in the kitchen and the 4K/60 Hz monitor in your home office. The B118-004-8K is backward compatible with 4K and 1080p resolutions via automatic switching, allowing each connected display to show video at its maximum resolution without affecting the other outputs.
Ready to Use Right Out of the Package
The plug-and-play HDMI splitter requires no software to download and install. User-supplied HDMI cables (such as P568-Series, sold separately) connect the splitter to both the source and displays. The included external power supply comes with four international plug adapters that allow you to use the B118-004-8K around the world.
