Overview

The 1011 Series purge and pressurization system from Pepperl+Fuchs is engineered to provide reliable protection for electrical enclosures installed in hazardous gas environments. Designed in compliance with industry standards such as NFPA 496 and ISA 12.4, this system enables the safe use of general-purpose equipment in classified areas by maintaining a controlled internal atmosphere.


The unit supports both Type Y and Type Z purge systems, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates using instrument-grade air or inert gas to create positive pressure within the enclosure, preventing the entry of hazardous gases. The system includes features such as optional alarm outputs for air supply failure, ensuring operational safety and continuous monitoring.
