Get A QuoteThe intrinsically safe Beacon Loc-Ex® 01 is suitable for industrial use in hazardous areas. Worldwide application becomes possible with certification for Zone 1/21 (ATEX / IECEx) and Division 1 (NEC / CEC). By sending out signals at periodic intervals, users can interact with these radio signals via applications.
The explosion-proof Beacon gives you more control over your assets and ensures optimal protection for your employees. In addition to locating people and vehicles, physical access controls can also be set up. The Ex-protected beacon can not only completely replace NFC tags, but also automate guidance systems. Signals for push-up messages enable direct communication for inspection and maintenance of equipment. Important operating parameters can be controlled by radio (SMART Meteoring and applications).
The simplification of process flows and the reduction of conflicts with insurance companies are convincing in combination with low maintenance costs. Thanks to the UV-resistant housing material, the use is possible in indoor and outdoor areas. Runtimes of approx. 4 years are offered with the factory settings.
Bluetooth 4.0 standards and ID, RX power, UUID, Minor, Major signals, ensure a range of 30 m indoors and up to 200 m outdoors. The rugged Beacon is IP64 certified and can be exposed to dust and moisture without any problems. Even at temperatures from -20°C to +55°C, the Loc-Ex® 01 remains fully functional.
