The IC Card Prepaid Water Meter integrates modern microelectronics, intelligent sensing technology, and secure IC card functionality to provide a reliable and automated water management system. Unlike traditional postpaid meters, this system operates on a “pay first, use later” principle, giving both utility providers and users greater control over water consumption and billing.

Users can easily recharge their IC card with a specific amount of water credit and activate the meter by inserting or swiping the card. The system continuously tracks water usage and deducts consumption from the available balance in real time. Once the balance reaches zero, the built-in control valve automatically shuts off the water supply, preventing unpaid usage and eliminating billing disputes.
