Overview

The CLD sensor from Sensorex is engineered for precise chlorine dioxide measurement in industrial and municipal water treatment processes. Utilizing advanced amperometric sensing technology, it enables real-time monitoring and stable performance across varying operating conditions. The sensor features automatic temperature compensation, a long-life design with replaceable membrane components, and compatibility with flow cells and regulators for enhanced accuracy. It is widely used in disinfection systems where maintaining correct chlorine dioxide levels is critical.

  • Measurement ranges: 0–2 ppm, 0–5 ppm, or 0–10 ppm chlorine dioxide 
  • Continuous real-time monitoring capability

  • Output signal: 4–20 mA for direct integration with PLC/SCADA systems 
  • Supply voltage: 12–24 V DC (minimum 250 mA) 

Mechanical & Design

  • Replaceable membrane cap and electrolyte solution for extended sensor life 
  • Large electrolyte reservoir for longer maintenance intervals 
  • Cable length: approximately 3 meters (10 feet)

  • Temperature range: 0°C to 45°C 
  • Pressure range: up to 14.7 psig 
  • pH range: approximately 5.5 to 8.5 

Flow & Installation

  • Recommended flow range: 0.2 – 0.6 gpm (45–135 L/hr) 
  • Compatible with FC72 flow cell for improved accuracy 
  • Optional FM001 flow regulator for stable flow control
