Overview

The EX2000RS Toroidal Conductivity Transmitter from Sensorex is an industrial‑grade conductivity transmitter designed for use with toroidal (inductive) conductivity sensors such as the TCS3020 series. It provides reliable measurement and monitoring of conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, and percent concentration. The instrument features a 4‑20 mA analog output and an RS‑485 serial interface supporting Modbus RTU or ASCII communication, enabling easy integration with automation systems. It is suitable for harsh environments and applications where minimal sensor maintenance and corrosion resistance are important, including wastewater, cooling towers, brine measurement, and chemical processing. The transmitter supports wall or panel mounting and offers versatile display and calibration features.

  • Compatible with TCS3020 toroidal conductivity / TDS sensors. 
  • Measures conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), percent concentration, and salinity. 
  • Conductivity range: up to 2000 mS/cm, Auto or fixed. 
  • Salinity range: 0.0 ppt – 70.0 ppt.  
  • TDS range: 0 – 19,999 ppm; 0.00–199.9 ppt.  
  • Conductivity accuracy: ±1 % (±1 digit) above 1 mS/cm; <1 mS/cm:  ±10 µS/cm.  
  • Temperature measurement range: -30 °C to 200 °C. 
  • Temperature accuracy: ±0.2 °C (±1 digit) with error compensation.

  • One isolated analog output: 0/4–20 mA corresponding to main measurement. 
  • RS‑485 serial interface supporting Modbus RTU or ASCII protocols. 

Display & Data

  • Large LCD display with selectable text and chart modes. 
  • Trend display capability for real‑time and historical readings. 
  • Event log with up to 50 records. 

Calibration & Compensation

  • Temperature compensation: NTC‑30K/PT‑1000 with auto or manual adjustment. 
  • Calibration options: manual cell constant adjustment, zero‑point, and standard solution calibration. 

Installation & Environment

  • Power supply: 100–240 VAC ±10 %, 50/60 Hz, approximately 7 W. 
  • Mounting: versatile wall or panel mount. 
  • Enclosure: rated for industrial environments (IP65/NEMA 4X). 
  • Operating temperature: 0 °C to 50 °C; storage: -20 °C to 70 °C (per third‑party listing).
