Retractable Injection Quills are designed to provide safe and reliable chemical injection into process pipelines, including steam header applications. The adjustable quill structure allows proper positioning within the flow stream and supports maintenance or inspection without system shutdown.

Overview

Retractable Injection Quills feature threaded rods for secure support during installation or removal while the system remains under pressure. A welded safety collar prevents accidental full withdrawal of the quill during operation, enhancing safety. These quills are rated for operation up to 450°F (232°C) and 450 psi pressure.

Valves: (3) 1/2" 316 SS shut-off.

Quill Size: 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" tubing.

Ends: Straight cut.

Pressure: 150 psi max.

Temperature: 250°F max.

Materials: 316 SS, Alloy 20, Hastelloy.

Maintenance: Individual quill removal/shut-off.

Capacity: 3 simultaneous injections.

Body: Hex-shaped.

Seals: Teflon tape and paste.

Kits: CVK check valves available.
