Overview

The Tektronix 6 Series Low Profile Digitizer (LPD64) offers high-speed, multi-channel signal capture with specs like 25 GS/s sample rate, up to 8 GHz bandwidth, 12-bit ADC resolution, and large memory options (125 Mpts std, up to 1 Gpts opt) for detailed analysis in compact 2U rack form factors, featuring seamless integration with the 6 Series MSO benchtop platform for easy code transition from R&D to production. 

Specification

  • Channels: 4 Analog SMA inputs (Analog & Spectral/DDC simultaneous).
  • Sample Rate: 25 GS/s on all channels.
  • Bandwidth: DC to 8 GHz (optional), with versions available for 4 GHz, 6 GHz, etc..
  • Vertical Resolution: 12-bit ADC (up to 16 bits in High Res mode at lower sample rates).
  • Record Length: 125 Megapoints (standard), expandable to 250 Mpts, 500 Mpts, or 1 Giga points (optional).
  • DDC (Digital Downconverter): Up to 2 GHz RF bandwidth (optional).
  • Noise/Isolation: Best-in-class low noise, high ENOB (Effective Number of Bits), and channel-to-channel isolation.
  • Form Factor: 2U Rackmount, LXI/USB 3.0 compliant for easy integration.
  • Software: Same UI and APIs as 6 Series MSO for easy code migration.
