Overview

The RK500-20 Total Suspended Solid (TSS) Sensor is an advanced water quality monitoring device that operates using an optical backscatter principle. When light is emitted into a water sample, suspended particles scatter the light, and the sensor measures the intensity of the reflected signal to determine the concentration of total suspended solids. This data is then processed and output through linearization for accurate and consistent readings.

Engineered for durability and precision, the sensor offers excellent stability, high sensitivity, and rapid response time, making it suitable for real-time monitoring applications. Its robust construction with stainless steel material and IP68 protection ensures reliable operation even in harsh environments and long-term submersion.

The RK500-20 is widely used in water treatment facilities, environmental monitoring, aquaculture, industrial wastewater management, and natural water bodies such as rivers and reservoirs. With features like automatic cleaning brush, multiple output options, and easy integration, it provides a low-maintenance and efficient solution for continuous water quality measurement.
