Overview

The RK500-07-SS Turbidity Sensor is engineered to provide accurate and stable turbidity measurement by utilizing the optical scattering principle. It detects suspended particles in water by measuring light scattered at a 90° angle, ensuring precise readings in NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). The sensor uses an 860 nm infrared light source compliant with ISO7027 standards, effectively minimizing interference caused by water color and improving measurement reliability.

Designed for durability and long-term performance, the sensor features a robust 316L stainless steel construction, making it suitable for harsh industrial and environmental conditions. With low power consumption, fast response time, and high sensitivity, it ensures efficient real-time monitoring. Its dual output options (4–20mA and RS485) allow seamless integration with PLCs, data loggers, and control systems.

This turbidity sensor is widely used in applications such as river monitoring, water treatment plants, reservoirs, agriculture irrigation, and urban sewage systems.
